A Thought on Volunteering
Someday when our kids are grown you will all have fond memories to cherish AND the knowledge that you had a positive impact on countless youth. What a great legacy to pass down to the next generation. What a way to make a contribution that has an effect on today’s complex changing value system. That is Truly important.
The District succeeds through the hard work of a dedicated core of volunteers and many unselfish individuals who give deeply of their time, efforts and expertise.Everyone has busy schedules but somehow they manage to contribute on a continuing basis. Do you have even a small amount of time to spare for the growing number of youth we are are serving?
Everyone has some talent or knowledge to contribute. The inner rewards and the example you set for your own children are among many of the many positive benefits. That is what Boy Scouts of America is all about. That is character.
